Meet Your Instructor

Hi, I'm Dr. Marnie Hansen.

I’m a chiropractor, pelvic floor specialist, women's health advocate, former professional snowboarder, and lifelong movement (and yoga) lover.

After years of sports injuries, stress, chronic pelvic pain, and navigating my own healing journey, I realized something powerful:

Most of us in this busy modern world are disconnected from our bodies at a fundamental level. Disconnected from our pelvic floor, our breath, posture, pelvis, and nervous system… and nobody teaches us how to deeply and meaningfully reconnect.

Why I created this class:

Because of what I do, movement has always been a huge part of my life.

But during a stressful and difficult fertility journey, I experienced firsthand how deeply stress, posture, trauma, tension, and nervous system overload can affect the body, especially the pelvis. I found myself searching for answers that went beyond quick fixes (not easy to find!).

Through years of clinical training, yoga training, breathwork, pelvic floor therapy, movement rehabilitation, somatic bodywork and learning how to truly listen to my body, I began to profoundly shift approach to healing my body, and other bodies. My own healing transformation was rooted in years of education, awareness, mobility, nervous system support, deep listening and reconnecting with the body rather than pushing or fighting against it.

Not only professional experience, but life experience shaped how I treated my own body, and now I teach others how to do the same for themselves!

Now, after helping hundreds (if not thousands) of women with pelvic pain, postpartum recovery, fertility and hormonal support; and men and women with core dysfunction, spine, pelvis and hip mobility issues, posture issues...  I decided that this course needed to be created to share with more people. I created this class as a space where people can slow down, breathe, move, learn, and reconnect to themselves again.

Because real healing happens when we can better connect with our bodies, and feel seen, understood, and empowered in our own bodies.

This class blends the worlds I love most:

-pelvic floor therapy

-yoga-inspired mobility

-posture correction

-breathwork

-nervous system healing

-movement education

-and real-world postural health

My goal is simple:

To help my community feel stronger, calmer, more connected, and more at home in their bodies.

And so it begins!

I originally created this class for myself! I loved it so much that I began sharing it with my pelvic floor therapy patients experiencing pelvic floor pain and  dysfunction, postpartum recovery, and those in need of a little extra nervous system regulation. It's targeted toward enhancing hip and pelvic mobility, addressing pelvic floor tightness and includes hip, low back and pelvic floor exercises for individuals in need of a little help with all of the above.
